Crème Fraîche Whipped Cream

Pillowy crème fraîche whipped cream with a hint of tang and sweet vanilla. A versatile dessert topping that’s simple and just lightly sweetened.

Equipment

  • Electric mixer

Ingredients
 

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup crème fraîche
  • ¼ cup sugar or vanilla sugar, (more to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Add heavy cream, crème fraîche, sugar, and vanilla extract to the bowl of a stand mixer with the whisk attachment.
  • Whisk on high until mixture forms soft to medium peaks, about 5 minutes. Taste and adjust sweetening, if desired.
