White Linen Cocktail

Homemade elderflower syrup, fresh lemon juice, cucumbers, & gin make this simple summer cocktail ultra refreshing.

Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker or mason jar
  • Collins glass or tall drinking glass

Ingredients
 

  • 1 ½ ounces gin
  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • ½ ounce elderflower syrup, or St. Germaine
  • 2-3 cucumber slices
  • 2 ounces sparkling water
  • ice, to serve
  • fresh cucumber, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Pour gin, lemon juice, elderflower syrup, and cucumber slices into a cocktail shaker or mason jar halfway filled with ice. Shake vigorously until cold, about 15-20 seconds.
  • Strain into a tall glass filled with ice. Top with soda water.
  • Add fresh cucumber for garnish, if desired.
